Water Suction Hose is a type of flexible pipeline specially designed for negative pressure suction scenarios. Its core function is to efficiently extract clear water, sewage or liquids containing a small amount of impurities from various water sources such as pools, Wells, water tanks and rivers. With excellent negative pressure resistance and wear resistance, It has become a key equipment for water pumping operations in fields such as agricultural irrigation, municipal sanitation, industrial production and emergency rescue.
The structure of the suction hose is centered around the core requirements of "anti-negative pressure, leak-proof and wear-resistant", and is usually divided into three layers, with each layer's material and function highly compatible:
Inner rubber layer: As the inner layer in direct contact with the liquid, materials with excellent water resistance are mostly used - nitrile rubber, ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber or PVC are commonly used in ordinary scenarios. The surface is treated to be smooth to reduce water flow resistance. At the same time, some products add anti-sticking formulas to prevent the adhesion and blockage of sand and impurities in the water
Reinforcing layer: This is the core structure that resists negative pressure and prevents the pipe body from being flattened. Common types include multi-layer polyester fiber braiding, spiral steel wire winding, and cotton thread braiding.
Outer rubber layer: It mainly serves a protective function. The materials are mostly wear-resistant and weather-resistant rubber or PVC. Some products will add additional UV absorbers and anti-aging components.
In the field of agricultural irrigation: It is the core equipment for agricultural water pumping and is often used in conjunction with centrifugal pumps to extract irrigation water from rivers, reservoirs, and Wells, providing water for farmlands, orchards, and greenhouses.
In the industrial and construction fields: In industrial production, it can be used as a water intake pipe for the cooling system, extracting cooling water from the cooling water pool to cool down the equipment. On construction sites, it is used for the drainage of accumulated water in foundation pits and basements to ensure a dry construction environment.
