UHMWPE Hose, is a flexible pipe mainly made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is a linear-structured polyethylene with a molecular weight of over 1.5 million, which endows this hose with a series of excellent properties and enables it to be widely used in multiple fields.
The main structure: Generally, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is used as the inner base material. Some models will add a reinforcing layer on the outside according to the usage requirements.
Connection part: Metal or plastic joints are usually equipped at both ends. The joints are fixed to the main body of the hose by means of hot melt, bonding or mechanical connection, etc., to ensure a firm connection and reliable sealing, and prevent the medium from leaking from the interface during transportation.
Extremely strong wear resistance: Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material has outstanding wear resistance, which is 4 to 7 times that of ordinary steel pipes and more than 10 times that of rubber.
Excellent chemical resistance: UHMWPE material has outstanding chemical stability and can withstand the erosion of various chemical media such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Except for strong oxidizing acids (such as concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid), it also has good resistance to most organic solvents.
Good flexibility: Despite the high strength of UHMWPE material, the hoses made from it still maintain excellent flexibility.
In the mining industry, UHMWPE hoses are often used to transport media containing a large amount of solid particles, such as pulp and tailings.
In construction machinery, such as excavators, loaders, concrete pump trucks, etc., UHMWPE hoses can be used as auxiliary pipes for hydraulic systems or material conveying pipes.
In the chemical industry, various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salt solutions and organic solvents need to be transported during chemical production.
