PVC Layflat Hose, also known as "PVC Flat Hose" , is often referred to as PVC flat pipe or rollable PVC hose. It is a flexible pipe made mainly of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) through a special process and can be flattened and rolled. Its most prominent feature is that it is flat in the absence of pressure, which is convenient for storage and transportation. When pressurized to convey media, it will expand into a circular pipe and play an important role in many fields.
Main material: It is mainly made of PVC material. Some models will add a high-strength synthetic fiber woven reinforcing layer in the middle of the PVC layer.
Pipe wall structure: The pipe wall is usually a double-layer or multi-layer composite structure, with both the inner and outer layers made of PVC material and an reinforcing layer (if any) sandwiched in between.
Interface design: Generally, plastic or metal connectors are equipped at both ends. The connection between the connector and the hose is achieved through hot melt, bonding or mechanical fastening to ensure reliable sealing and prevent medium leakage.
Excellent flexibility and adaptability to complex terrains: The hose has outstanding overall flexibility, allowing it to be easily bent and folded, and can adapt to complex terrains such as uneven ground and corner turns.
Water resistance and mild corrosion resistance: PVC material itself has excellent water resistance and can transport clear water, rainwater and other media for a long time without swelling or aging.
Moderate pressure resistance and stable flow: Depending on the model, the working pressure of PVC flat hoses is generally between 0.6 and 2.5MPa, which can meet the transportation requirements of most low-pressure to medium-pressure media.
