PVC Layflat Hose, also known as PVC flat hose or PVC folded hose, is a low-pressure fluid transmission pipeline with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the core material, which combines flexibility and portability. Its unique form of "flat stacking and storage" and high cost performance make it the mainstream choice for low-pressure fluid transmission in multiple fields such as agriculture, municipal services, and construction, especially suitable for temporary and mobile fluid transportation needs.
The structural design of PVC Layflat Hose focuses on "lightness, low cost and basic protection". According to different pressure requirements, it is divided into two types: "no reinforcing layer" and "fiber reinforcing layer". The specific structural differences are as follows:
It is made by single-layer or double-layer PVC co-extrusion process, with both the inner and outer layers being modified PVC material - plasticizers are added to the inner layer to enhance flexibility and ensure smooth fluid transmission. The outer layer is added with anti-aging agents and UV absorbers to enhance weather resistance during outdoor use.
For medium and low pressure scenarios (0.6-1.0MPa), a layer of polyester fiber or polyester fiber woven mesh is added between the inner and outer PVC layers. The fiber layer adopts a warp and weft weaving process to form a "mesh support structure", which can enhance the tensile strength (breaking tensile strength ≥15MPa) and burst resistance of the hose, preventing excessive expansion or rupture of the hose during pressure fluctuations.
Undertake the temporary water supply and drainage tasks at the construction site: During the concrete curing process, hoses can be laid to continuously supply clean water to the curing area, preventing the curing water from flowing randomly. In foundation pit construction, it can be used as a temporary sewage pipe to pump the accumulated water and mud (without large particle impurities) in the foundation pit to the designated area. Moreover, the hose is lightweight and can be carried and laid by a single worker, which improves the construction efficiency.
