The PVC Suction Hose is a flexible hose made of PVC material specially designed for negative pressure water suction scenarios. Its core function is to draw clear water, sewage or liquids containing a small amount of impurities from water sources such as water pools, Wells and water tanks. With its characteristics of negative pressure resistance and light wear resistance, it is suitable for low-pressure water suction requirements in agriculture, municipal, industrial and other fields It is a cost-effective alternative to some rubber water-absorbing hoses.
Inner adhesive layer: Smooth PVC material, reducing water flow resistance and impurity deposition. Some dirt-resistant models add anti-sticking components, suitable for water with mild sand (impurity particle size ≤2mm). The food-grade model is made of FDA-certified PVC and can be used for drinking water.
Reinforcing layer: Mostly made of polyester fiber weaving or spiral steel wire winding - The fiber-reinforced type can resist negative pressure from -0.6 to -0.8 bar and is suitable for shallow water areas (≤5 meters). The steel wire reinforced type can withstand negative pressure from -0.9 to -1 bar, making it suitable for deep water Wells (5-15 meters) or long-distance water suction, preventing the pipe body from being flattened.
Outer rubber layer: Wear-resistant PVC, with some additions of anti-ultraviolet additives, resistant to outdoor sun exposure and sand and gravel friction, Shore hardness 70-80A, extending outdoor service life.
Negative pressure resistance capacity: Working negative pressure -0.6 to -1 bar, the pipe body does not collapse during water pumping, ensuring continuous water flow. The burst pressure is 3 to 4 times the absolute value of the negative pressure, ensuring safe use.
Weather resistance and compatibility: Temperature resistance ranges from -10 ℃ to + 60℃. It can be used to pump clean water, rainwater and sewage. Some chemically resistant models are suitable for weak acid and alkali water with a pH of 4 to 9 (such as mild agricultural fertilizer liquid). It is prohibited to transport oily or strongly corrosive media.
Lightweight and easy to operate: Density 1.3-1.5g/cm³, 30%-50% lighter than rubber water-absorbing hoses, light weight per meter, can be carried by one person. The minimum bending radius is 6 to 8 times the pipe diameter, making it suitable for laying in complex sites.
In the agricultural field: When used in conjunction with centrifugal pumps to draw river water and well water for irrigating farmland, the fiber-reinforced type is suitable for shallow water areas, while the steel-reinforced type is appropriate for deep Wells. Its cost is only 1/2 to 2/3 of that of rubber suction hoses.
