PVC hose, also known as polyvinyl chloride hose, are a type of plastic hoses made by extrusion molding with polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material and adding appropriate amounts of additives (such as stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, etc.). It is one of the plastic hoses with the largest output and the widest application in the world at present. With its excellent performance and economic practicality, it holds an important position in many fields such as construction, municipal works and industry.
PVC resin itself has excellent chemical stability, insulation and processing performance. PVC hoses can be classified into rigid polyvinyl chloride pipes (UPVC hoses) and flexible polyvinyl chloride hoses (SPVC hoses) based on whether plasticizers are added. Rigid polyvinyl chloride hoses contain no or only a small amount of plasticizers. They are hard in texture and high in strength, making them suitable for scenarios with high pressure and high strength requirements. Soft polyvinyl chloride hoses, due to the addition of a relatively large amount of plasticizers, have good flexibility and are often used in situations where a certain degree of elasticity is required.
Excellent chemical stability: PVC hoses have good resistance to various chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, and salts, and are not easily eroded by chemical substances in sewage or soil. They are suitable for transporting corrosive liquids or for underground laying.
High strength and rigidity: Hard PVC hoses have high impact resistance and rigidity, can withstand certain pressure, and can operate stably in water supply and drainage, gas transmission and other systems without deformation or cracking.
Low fluid resistance: The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, resulting in low resistance when the liquid flows inside the pipe. This can reduce energy consumption and improve transportation efficiency. Especially in water supply and drainage projects, it can ensure smooth water flow.
